Enterprises often develop custom applications to support their unique business processes. You can add these custom applications to IDaaS and integrate them by referring to the provided developer documentation.

Procedure

  1. Go to Applications and click Add Application.

  2. Select the Custom Applications tab and click Add Custom Application to configure the application.

Integration levels

IDaaS lets you integrate custom applications at three levels. Review these levels to determine which integration best suits your needs:

Level

Description

Value

Level 1: Unified sign-on

Implements single sign-on (SSO). Integrate with the OIDC protocol to enable single sign-on, allowing enterprise accounts in IDaaS to access the application.

Developer documentation: Integrate a custom application with single sign-on.

Gives users a single account for all applications.

Unified authorization, management, and behavior auditing.

Level 2: Unified accounts

Implements account synchronization. Integrating with the IDaaS synchronization API eliminates identity silos.

Developer documentation: Integrate a custom application with account synchronization.

Lets you manage all accounts from one place, with changes propagating automatically. This improves efficiency and reduces manual work.

Level 3: Unified permissions (Not yet supported)

Implements permission hosting. Integrate with the IDaaS role-based access control (RBAC) model to host application roles, menus, and features in IDaaS for centralized authorization management.

Provides fine-grained access control and centralizes permission management across your enterprise.

Reduces the high cost of developing and maintaining complex permission systems for custom applications.
