Procedure
Go to Accounts > Accounts and Orgs to import or export data.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Import or Export to perform bulk data operations.
Import account data
Create an import task
-
Choose Import > Import Account to create an import task. You can use the IDaaS EIAM 2.0 template (in CSV format) to import data. If you need to import IDaaS EIAM 1.0 (the earlier version) data, select the IDaaS EIAM 1.0 template (in XLS format). Make sure that the organization paths in 1.0 and 2.0 are the same. Otherwise, the data cannot be imported.
In the Import Account panel, also configure the following parameters: Upload File (must be in CSV format; you can import a maximum of 5,000 accounts at a time), Initial Password (you can select Do Not Set Initial Password or Use Initial Password Policy), Select Unique Identifier (such as Username; if the value of this field is the same as that of an existing account, the existing account is updated instead of a new account being created), and Description. After the configuration is complete, click Start Import.
Note-
The 2.0 template includes basic fields and extended fields:
Among the basic fields, the account name (username) and organization path (organizationalUnitPath) fields are required. If you specify the mobile phone number (phoneNumber) field, the phone region code (phoneRegion) field is required. The other fields are optional, but do not delete the field columns in the import template. Otherwise, the data cannot be imported.
For extended fields (in the format of customFieldMap.extended field identifier), the format requirements are subject to the requirements of the extended fields.
If the value of an optional field is empty when an account is updated, the update of this field is skipped. Therefore, the existing data of this field is not affected.
-
You can get the organization path in Accounts and Orgs > Organization:
In the organization list, view the full path in the Organization Path column. A format example is
/Alibaba Cloud IDaaS/WeCom Test.
-
-
Configure the initial password and unique identifier to complete the initialization settings for passwords and existing account data.
-
Initial password: After you create accounts by importing a file, you can choose not to set passwords for the accounts. For example, you may want users to sign in only by using passwordless methods such as QR code scanning or SMS verification codes. You can also set passwords based on the Initial passwords policy (this policy must be enabled). The existing accounts in IDaaS are not affected.
-
Select unique identifier: When you import account data by using a file, IDaaS creates accounts by default. For account data that already exists in IDaaS, select a unique identifier. If the value of the unique identifier field is the same as that of an existing account, the account information is updated instead of a new account being created. This ensures compatibility with the existing data.
-
Description: the description of this import task. You can view it on pages such as Import Records. (Recommended) Specify this parameter to distinguish different import tasks.
-
-
After you confirm that the settings are correct, click Start Import to start the import task.
ImportantImporting accounts only adds and modifies accounts. It does not delete accounts.
However, the import operation is irreversible. To avoid impacts on existing accounts, test and verify on a small scale before you import the full data.
View import records
On the tab, you can view the import records of the last two years and download the import detail files of the last seven days.
Import Records contains the following columns: Import Time, Description, Import Status, and Actions. The import status includes Import Successful, Partially Successful, and Import Failed. Click View Details to view the specific import results.
Export account data
Create an export task
Choose Export > Export Account, and configure and Description. The Export Scope parameter allows you to set the scope by organization and group. Only the data within the scope can be exported.
You can export a maximum of 5,000 records at a time. After the configuration is complete, click Start Export.
View export records
On the tab, you can view the export records of the last two years and download the export detail files of the last seven days.
The export records list contains the Export Time, Description, Export Status, and Actions columns. When the export status is Export Successful, you can click Download in the Actions column to get the file. When the status is Export Failed, the download is unavailable.
