Admin operations

Overview

IDaaS logs all key administrator and user operations and stores them for 180 days. During this retention period, you can view, search, and retrieve these logs at any time to audit, trace, and analyze admin operations.

Procedure

1. Log on to the IDaaS console, select the target IDaaS instance, and click Console in the Actions column. Go to Log > Management.

2. Set a time range. Select the desired time range for the logs at the top of the page.

   1. Directly enter the start and end times.

   2. Alternatively, select a preset time range from the dropdown menu, such as Last Week, Last Month, Last Three Months, or Last Six Months.

3. Advanced search

   Use the following filters to find specific logs:

   1. Operator type: The type of user or service that performed the operation, such as IDaaS account, IDaaS application, RAM user, or RAM role.

   2. Object type: The type of resource targeted by the operation, such as account, organization, user group, identity provider, or application.

   3. Event type: The specific action that was performed, such as application, authentication, or authorization.

   4. Event result: The outcome of the event, such as Success/Skipped or Failed.

4. Perform search

   1. After configuring the filters, click Search to run the query.

   2. To clear all filter conditions, click Reset.

   3. Select Collapse after search to automatically collapse the filter panel after a search.

5. View log details

   The search results are displayed in a table at the bottom of the page. The table contains the following columns:

   1. Time: The time when the operation occurred.

   2. Operator: The account that performed the operation.

   3. Event type: The specific type of the operation.

   4. Operation object: The target of the operation.

   5. Event result: The result of the operation.

   Click a log entry to view its details.
