Instance Tags

Tag management lets you classify and organize your Image Search instances by attaching key-value tags.

Limits

Each tag is a key-value pair, subject to the following limits:

  • Tags must be attached to an Image Search instance. Standalone tags without an associated instance are not supported.

  • An instance can have up to 20 tags. Tag keys are case-sensitive.

  • Each tag key on an instance must be unique. Tags with duplicate keys overwrite existing ones.

  • When you delete an instance, its tags are also deleted.

  • When creating a new tag:

    • The key is required. It cannot start with aliyun or acs:, and must not contain http:// or https://.

    • The value is optional. It cannot start with aliyun or acs:, and must not contain http:// or https://.

Add Tags

  1. Log in to the Image Search console.

  2. Click the relevant search service type to go to the instance list page.

  3. Move your mouse over the tag management icon in the Tags column for the target instance.

    A tag overlay appears, showing all tags attached to the instance (in the format key:value). At the bottom of the overlay, click Edit Tags to open the tag editing page.

  4. Click Edit Tags.

  5. On the Edit Tags page, enter a key and value, then click Add.

    Note

    You can also add tags to a specific instance by selecting Attach Existing Tags.

  6. Click Close to exit tag editing.

Tag Filtering

  1. Log in to the Image Search console.

  2. Click the relevant search service type to go to the instance list page.

  3. Click Filter Tags above the instance list.

    In the expanded tag filtering panel, select a target tag key in the left pane and check the corresponding tag value in the right pane. The instance list updates to show only instances matching the selected key-value pair.

  4. After selecting specific tag key-value pairs, the system filters instances based on your selection.

    Note

    • You can select multiple tags. Multiple tags use AND logic.

    • You can filter instances using only a tag key, without specifying a value.

Delete Tags

  1. Log in to the Image Search console.

  2. Click the relevant search service type to go to the instance list page.

  3. Move your mouse over the tag management icon in the Tags column for the target instance.

  1. Click Edit Tags.

  2. On the Edit Tags page, click the image next to an existing tag to delete it.

  3. Click Close to exit tag editing.
