What is Image Search
Image Search lets you build a visual search engine powered by deep learning and computer vision. Submit a query image via the API, and Image Search returns visually similar images from your gallery — no keywords required.
Typical applications include snap shopping (let users photograph a product to find it in your catalog), product recommendations, similar-image recommendations, and copyright protection.

How it works
Add reference images to an image gallery managed by Image Search.
Submit a query image via the API.
Image Search extracts image features, compares them against the gallery, and returns a list of similar images.
Services
Product image search: Input a product image to accurately find the same or similar products in your product gallery and retrieve the corresponding product information.
Generic image search: Input an image to find similar or identical images that contain the same elements or entities in a massive image gallery.
Fabric image search: Input a fabric image to accurately find fabrics with the same or similar textures in your fabric gallery and retrieve the corresponding fabric information.
Trademark image search: Input a trademark image to accurately find the same or similar trademarks in your trademark gallery and retrieve the corresponding trademark information.
Copyright image search: Input an image to accurately find the original image in your copyrighted image gallery. The search is not affected by factors such as image splicing, logos, watermarks, flips, cropping, or color changes.
Furniture and home goods image search: Input an image to accurately find the same or similar furniture and home goods in your gallery and retrieve the corresponding information.
Industrial hardware image search: Input an image to accurately find the same or similar industrial hardware in your gallery and retrieve the corresponding information.
Product multimodal search: Input an image or text to accurately find the same or similar product images in your product gallery and retrieve the corresponding product information.
The data import operation for product multimodal search is the same as for other service types.
When you search using text, the multimodal model directly finds similar images based on the text content, regardless of the image names.
