Use Intelligent Media Management through OSS-Intelligent Media Management(IMM)-阿里云帮助中心

After you attach an Intelligent Media Management project to an OSS bucket, you can use features such as document preview and facial recognition through the OSS console or an SDK. This topic describes the prerequisites, notes, and procedure for using Intelligent Media Management through OSS.

Prerequisites

Intelligent Media Management is activated. For more information, see Activate a product.
OSS is activated. For more information, see Activate OSS.

Notes

The Intelligent Media Management project and the OSS bucket must be in the same region.
Creating an Intelligent Media Management project and using its features incur fees. Before you start, review the billing information for Intelligent Media Management. For more information, see Billing for the old version.

Quick use

Configure Intelligent Media Management.
Create a project. For more information, see Create a project.

Configure OSS.

Create a bucket. For more information, see Create a bucket in the console.
Upload files to the bucket. For more information, see Upload files in the console.

Attach an Intelligent Media Management project of the appropriate type to the feature module of the bucket. For more information, see Attach an Intelligent Media Management project.

Important

If you no longer need the Intelligent Media Management features, detach the project from the bucket promptly to avoid unnecessary fees.

Module	Description
Document features	Attach a standard document project from Intelligent Media Management. After attaching the project, use the document preview feature to preview files online, such as PPT, XLS, DOC, and PDF files. For more information, see Document preview.
Facial recognition	Attach a standard image project from Intelligent Media Management. After attaching the project, use the facial recognition feature to detect face bounding boxes and properties in images. For more information, see Facial recognition.
Image recognition	Attach a standard image project from Intelligent Media Management. After attaching the project, use the image recognition feature to detect image labels and confidence levels. For more information, see Image recognition.
