Intelligent Media Services (IMS) supports a wide range of media processing scenarios, from training content production to interactive streaming.

Training

High-definition live streams are recorded and stored in Object Storage Service (OSS). You can use the online editing feature of IMS to process live stream content, such as subtitle generation, video splitting, and live interaction restoration, to produce training courses. On-demand videos retain the original live interaction experience.

Video website

IMS uses technologies such as narrowband HD and old film restoration to convert videos to ultra-high-definition versions or restore damaged footage. This improves the viewing experience for end users while reducing storage and bandwidth costs.

TV broadcasting and media

For high-bitrate source material (hundreds of Mbit/s) from different sources, you can use the fast transcoding and editing features of IMS along with the review, duplicate checking, and tagging features of ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS) to enable multimodal searches and streamline material transactions.

Short video

The short video service is a complete solution that integrates audio and video recording, effect editing, local transcoding, high-speed uploading, auto transcoding, media resource management, video distribution acceleration, and video playback. It helps you quickly launch a short video service, enhance user engagement, and improve monetization.

Interactive streaming

The integrated SDK low-code solution combines multiple services, including ApsaraVideo Live, ApsaraVideo VOD, Real-Time Communication (RTC), and interactive messaging, to deliver a seamless viewing and interaction experience.
