Video Translation
Video translation uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to efficiently and accurately convert video content from a source language to one or more target languages, making it accessible to a global audience. This technology covers both subtitle translation and speech translation to ensure a natural and consistent viewing experience. By breaking down language barriers, video translation enriches educational content, enhances entertainment experiences, and promotes cross-cultural communication.
Features
The video translation service, part of Intelligent Media Services, provides efficient and professional video translation. It supports both subtitle-level and speech-level translation, and will eventually support face-level translation.
|
Translation level |
Description |
|
Subtitle-level |
Subtitle-level translation extracts subtitle text from a video and translates it to the target language. The translated subtitles can be embedded in the video or provided as a separate subtitle file. |
|
Speech-level |
Speech-level translation converts the spoken audio in a video to text, and then translates the text to the target language. The translated text can be synthesized into speech in the target language to replace the original audio. |
