Purchase IoT Device ID

You can purchase IoT Internet Device ID in two ways. The differences are outlined below:

Purchase ID² software authorization

1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website and go to the ID² software authorization purchase page.

2. On the Purchase page, set Specification to Basic Edition, enter a Quantity, and select an ID² Validity Period.

3. After you confirm the price, click Buy Now.

4. On the Confirm Order page, select the Terms of Service checkbox and click Go to Pay.

5. On the Payment page, select a payment method and click Order.

6. After the payment is successful, click Management Console to go to the IoT Internet Device ID console.

7. Go to the Authorization page to view the authorization information for IoT Internet Device ID. Click Purchase History to view all order information.

Purchase ID² secure chips/modules

1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website and go to the ID² secure chip/module purchase page.

2. On the Purchase page, select Specifications, Models.

   Note

   ID² secure chips/modules are sold in packages. The number in parentheses indicates the number of chips or modules in each package. For example, NXP A71CL Package (6,000) means one package contains 6,000 ID² secure chips.

3. Select the number of packages.

4. Select a Validity Period.

   Note

   ID² secure chips/modules are pre-flashed with an ID² authorization that is valid for 5 years. After 5 years, you must purchase additional ID² software authorizations to continue using the ID² service.

5. After you confirm the price, click Buy Now.

6. On the Confirm Order page, select the Terms of Service checkbox, select a Shipping Address, and click Go to Pay.

7. On the Payment page, select a payment method and click Order.

8. After the payment is successful, click Management Console to go to the IoT Internet Device ID console.

9. Go to the Authorization page to view the authorization information for IoT Internet Device ID. Click Purchase History to view all order information.

10. Wait for the ID² secure chips/modules to be shipped.

11. Receive and sign for the ID² secure chips/modules.

12. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud console and click Confirm Receipt.
