Lite Edition

Link IoT Edge Lite Edition (LE Lite) is a self-contained software package.

You can download the self-contained software package for each version from the download page.

The environment requirements for the Lite Edition are as follows:

  • ARMv7 with VFPv3 hard-float for Linux: Requires Linux kernel version 2.6.32 or later.
  • ARMv8_64 for Linux: Requires Linux kernel version 2.6.32 or later.
  • 64-bit Windows
  • 32-bit Windows
  • Mac

For more information about how to set up the environment and use the Lite Edition, see the User guide.

Note
  • If you are a new user, use the latest version of the most recent series.
  • If you are an existing user, select a version based on the following guidelines:
    • If you use a Long-Term Support (LTS) version, use the latest version of that series.
    • If you use a non-LTS version, upgrade to the latest LTS version.

v2.4.x series

This series includes all the product features of Link IoT Edge Lite Edition. Compared to the v2.1.x series, this series fixes known remote access issues and optimizes the remote access experience. For more information, see the following table.

This series includes all the product features of Link IoT Edge Lite Edition. Compared to non-LTS versions, this series adds the host monitoring feature and fixes issues with the message channel of the remote connection service. For more information, see the following table.
