IoT Edge provides Operations and Maintenance (O&M) features and after-sales service support through the IoT Edge console for all-in-one edge machines and their associated software and hardware resources in your Alibaba Cloud account.

IoT Edge provides full-stack O&M and after-sales support for all-in-one edge machines and their deployment models.
Key features include the following:
Cloud-based O&M
You can remotely manage on-site devices, applications, algorithms, and other software and hardware resources. This makes O&M tasks simpler and more efficient.
Full-stack O&M
You can perform closed-loop O&M on the running status of all resources. This enables more comprehensive O&M.
Intelligent O&M
You can use pre-configured system O&M events, system health monitoring, and intelligent diagnostics to promptly identify the operational status of devices.
Collaborative O&M
A complete service management flow supports both proactive and reactive O&M tasks.

The O&M features provided by IoT Edge are described in the following table.
O&M feature | Description |
Global overview | The Overview page in the IoT Edge console provides a quick summary of your all-in-one edge machines. Information includes a host overview, host monitoring, an alert overview, the 10 most recently activated machines, and deployment status. |
O&M dashboard | IoT Edge provides an O&M dashboard. The dashboard displays a regional heatmap of your all-in-one edge machines. This gives you a quick and intuitive overview of the operational status and alerts for all machines and their associated software and hardware resources. |
Alerting rules | IoT Edge provides system alerting rules and supports custom rules. Use alerting rules to configure alert conditions, alert frequency, and message channels. |
O&M alerts | Based on subscribed or custom alerting rules, IoT Edge promptly monitors the operational status of hosts, applications, and end devices for each all-in-one edge machine. Alerts are displayed on the O&M and Support > O&M Alerts page in the IoT Edge console. |
System events | IoT Edge provides various system events. Use system events to monitor and view non-critical alerts and notifications related to your all-in-one edge machines and their associated software and hardware resources. |
After-sales support
IoT Edge supports the online submission of after-sales service tickets for faster support.
