Official applications
IoT Edge provides official, ready-to-use applications to accelerate your development. These applications, which include containerized and process applications, can be pre-installed or deployed on demand. This topic describes the official applications based on their deployment types.
Pre-installed applications
Some all-in-one edge devices include pre-installed applications. After you install and activate a device, you can view its applications in the IoT Edge console.
Log on to the IoT Edge console.
From the drop-down list in the navigation pane on the left, select your instance.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Node Management > Host Management.
Find your all-in-one edge device and choose More > Activate Application in the Actions column.
In the dialog box that appears, view the pre-installed applications for the all-in-one edge device.
Select an inactive pre-installed application. Click Activate next to the application name to run the application on the all-in-one edge device.
Deployable applications
IoT Edge provides various official applications that you can deploy after an all-in-one edge device is activated. When you assign applications to the device, you can select the required official applications, and then assign and deploy them.
