Manage web lightweight applications

On the project management page, click the name of a lightweight application project to open its home page. You can view information such as real-time data, device management, basic configurations, and permission management.

View web lightweight application project details

  1. Log on to the IoT Application Development Console. In the upper-left corner, select your purchased instance. Then, in the navigation pane on the left, click Project Management.

  2. On the Project Management page, click the Lightweight Application tab.

  3. On the Lightweight Application tab, click a lightweight application project card to open its home page.

    You can perform the following operations.

    Home page data

    View the total number of devices, online devices, and offline devices

    The home page displays the total, online, and offline device counts.

    Click the Online Devices and Offline Devices cards to view device counts over the last seven days.

    View device distribution rankings

    The device distribution card displays the top 5 device distribution locations. Click the Device Distribution Card to view rankings by province and city.

    Data Center

    View real-time data

    In the Data Center area, click Real-time Data to open a page where you can filter by product, device, and space to view information such as device status and last reported time.

    View historical data

    In the Data Center area, click Historical Data to open a page where you can filter by product, device, and space to view historical data such as device status and the last reported time.

    Device Center

    Device management

    In the Device Center area, click Device Management to view information about associated devices, such as their product, node type, and status.

    Device space

    1. In the Device Center area, click Device Space.

    2. On the Device Space page, click the new device space icon icon.

    3. In the New Device Space dialog box, enter a space name, select a parent space, and click Confirm.

      After creating a device space, you can associate devices with it.

    Device map

    In the Device Center area, click Device Map to view device locations on the web application's map. For more information, see Map.

    Configuration Center

    Basic configuration

    In the Configuration Center area, click Basic Configuration to modify the backend name, backend logo, and page background image.

    Note

    The backend name can contain only Chinese characters, letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and parentheses (). It must start with a Chinese character, letter, or digit.

    Data visualization

    1. In the Configuration Center area, click Data Visualization.

    2. On the Data Visualization page, click New Page.

    3. In the New dialog box, enter a page name, select a published application, bind a page within the application, and click OK.

    4. After creating the page, you can perform the following operations from the Actions column:

      • Edit Configuration: In the Edit dialog box, modify the page name, select a published application, bind a page within the application, and click OK.

      • Edit Page: Go to the bound web application page for editing. For more information, see Page.

      • Delete: Deletes the data visualization page from the lightweight application. This action does not delete the bound web application page.

    Note

    After a data visualization page is created, you can view it in the operation center.

    User management

    • Account management

      1. In the Configuration Center area, click User Management.

      2. On the User Management page, click the Account tab, and then click Add Account.

      3. In the Add Account dialog box, enter the DingTalk contact information and click OK.

      Parameter

      Description

      Account name

      Supports only Chinese characters, English letters, and digits. The name must be no more than 20 characters long. Each Chinese character counts as a single character.

      Phone number

      Enter an 11-digit mobile number from the Chinese mainland. Do not add the country code (+86).

      DingTalk chatbot webhook

      Paste the copied webhook URL. Example: https://oapi.dingtalk.com/robot/send?access_token=1771ad32***40828b9dd1e37d1. For more information, see Manage Contacts and Contact Groups.

      DingTalk chatbot token secret

      Paste the saved signing secret. Example: SECbc6e9aae6b20***22142b2. For more information, see Manage Contacts and Contact Groups.

      Login email

      Your email address.

    • Account group management

      1. In the Configuration Center area, click User Management.

      2. On the User Management page, click the Account Group tab, and then click Add Account Group.

      3. In the Add Account Group dialog box, enter an account group name and description.

      4. Click Account Group Members. In the Select Account dialog box, select the group members, and then click OK.

      5. Click OK.

      6. Note

        The account group name can contain only Chinese characters, English letters, and digits. The name must be no more than 20 characters long. Each Chinese character counts as a single character.

    Permission management

    • Configure access permissions for a published application.

      1. In the Configuration Center area, click Permission Management.

      2. On the Permission Management page, select the Application Access Permissions tab, and then click Configure in the Access Permissions column.

      3. On the Application Access Restrictions page, click Configure Application Permissions.

      4. In the dialog box that appears, select the roles that can access the published application, and then click OK.

      5. (Optional) On the Application Access Restrictions page, you can also assign roles to specific pages within the application by clicking Configure in the Access Permissions column of the page access restriction list.

    • Configure access permissions for published business logic.

      1. In the Configuration Center area, click Permission Management.

      2. On the Permission Management page, select the Service Access Permissions tab, and then click Configure in the Access Permissions column.

      3. In the dialog box that appears, select the roles that can access the published business logic service, and then click OK.

    Role management

    1. In the Configuration Center area, click Role Management.

    2. On the Role Management page, click Add Role.

    3. In the Add Role dialog box, enter a Role name and a description, and then click Save.

    4. After creating the role, go to the Role Details page. On the Role Members tab, click Add Role Member.

    5. In the dialog box that appears, click the Account you want to add, and then click Confirm.

    Work Center

    Message management

    If the notification method for an alert rule is set to Message Center, you can click Message Management in the Work Center area to view received alert details.

    Alert rules

    • Simple rule

      1. In the Work Center area, click Alert Rule.

      2. On the Alert Rule page, click the Simple Rule tab, and then click New Alert Rule.

      3. On the Create Alert Rule page, configure the alert rule.

        1. In the Rule Information section, enter a name and description for the alert rule, select an alert level (Information, Warning, Minor, Major, or Severe), and then click Next.

        2. In the Trigger Rule Configuration section, select Simple Rule, configure the product, device, trigger attribute, and comparison method, enter a threshold value, and then click Next.

        3. In the Alert Notification section, select a notification method (DingTalk chatbot, Message Center, or SMS), a message template (Default Template or Custom Template), and notification recipients (All Accounts or Custom Selection).

          Note
          • Value-added services such as SMS, email, and voice calls are available for a fee. To enable these services, contact your equipment solution provider to purchase them on the platform.

          • Custom templates are not supported for the SMS notification method.

      4. After you complete the configuration, click OK.

    • Preset rule

      1. In the Work Center area, click Alert Rule.

      2. On the Alert Rule page, click the Preset Rule tab, and then click New Alert Rule.

      3. On the Create Alert Rule page, configure the alert rule.

        1. In the Rule Information section, enter a name and description for the alert rule, select an alert level (Information, Warning, Minor, Major, or Severe), and then click Next.

        2. In the Trigger Rule Configuration section, select Preset Rule, configure the business service and business push node, and then click Next.

          For more information about how to create a corresponding message node in business logic, see Business logic.

        3. In the Alert Notification section, select a notification method (DingTalk chatbot, Message Center, or SMS) and notification recipients (All Accounts or Custom Selection).

          Note
          • Value-added services such as SMS, email, and voice calls are available for a fee. To enable these services, contact your equipment solution provider to purchase them on the platform.

          • If you select Custom Selection as the recipient, you can select accounts from the Account and Account Group tabs in the panel that appears.

      4. After you complete the configuration, click OK.
