Purchase a cloud gateway lite application instance

IoT Studio provides cloud gateway lite application instances for managing lite application services. This topic describes how to purchase a cloud gateway lite application instance.

Usage notes

The cloud gateway lite application feature is currently in beta testing and is not publicly available.

Purchase a lite application instance

  1. Go to the purchase page.

  2. On the IoT Cloud Gateway Authorization page, select the required configuration specifications for the cloud gateway lite application instance and complete the purchase.

    Device authorization type

    Currently, only authorization for HaaS531 devices is supported.

    Data storage per device authorization

    Select the data storage size for each device authorization. The minimum is 0 GB and the maximum is 50 GB.

    Note

    By default, each device authorization includes 500 MB of data storage. This storage can be used for device data analytics. If you do not use the data analytics feature, you do not need to add more storage. After purchase, you can upgrade the storage but you cannot downgrade it.

    Number of device authorizations

    In the Number of device authorizations box, click the plus (+) or minus (-) sign to adjust the quantity.

    Duration

    Select the validity period for the instance. You can purchase a subscription for 1 month, 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years.

    When the instance expires, the service stops. After expiration, the instance is released, and all its data is deleted and cannot be recovered. Before the instance expires, renew it promptly to avoid service interruptions.

  3. After you complete the purchase, the console displays a Payment successful message.

    Note

    After a successful purchase, it takes about 5 minutes for the instance to be created. If the new instance does not appear in the console, wait 5 minutes and check again.

    Log on to the IoT Application Development console. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the purchased cloud gateway lite application instance. On the Project Management page, you can then use the options in the upper-right corner to view configuration information, upgrade the instance, or renew the subscription.

View configuration information

On the Project Management page, click View Configuration Information in the upper-right corner to open the Configuration Information panel and view the details of the cloud gateway lite application instance.
