You can configure different types of navigation menus for your web application. Customize the style and content of the navigation menu to meet your specific needs.
Procedure
- In the left navigation pane, click page.
- Under page > navigation layout, select a template that includes a navigation menu.
If you select a layout with left navigation, a dialog box prompts you to choose whether to auto-generate the menu. If you select auto-generate, the editor automatically creates a navigation menu on the left side of the page and populates it with your existing pages.
- Under navigation layout, click Configure. The navigation configuration panel opens on the right side of the editor, allowing you to customize the style and content of the navigation menu.
Parameter Description Navigation background style Sets the width and background color of the left navigation menu bar. Logo Sets the logo for the left navigation or top bar. Note If you select the Left Navigation/Top Bar page template, you can only set the logo in the top bar.Application name Sets whether to display the application name in the top bar. This option is selected by default. You can also configure the font and color of the application name. Menu style Sets the font for the navigation menu bar, as well as the text and background colors for different states. Menu configuration The configuration panel displays the existing main menus in the application. You can add new main menus or modify existing ones. - Add a main menu
Click Add main menu to add a main menu and configure its parameters. You can also add submenus to the current main menu.
- Edit an existing main menu or submenu
Hover over a menu to display its action icons:
- Edit: Configure menu parameters, including menu name, link opening method, and target link.
- Add: Add a submenu. This option is only available for main menus. You must configure parameters for the new submenu. Note After you add a submenu, the link configured for the parent main menu becomes inactive. Clicking the main menu in the application only expands or collapses the submenu.
- Delete: Delete menus you no longer need.
- Adjust: Drag and drop menus to reorder them.
Login information When you enable account authentication for the application, a Log In button appears by default in the upper-right corner of the page. You can configure the font, account information text color, and login action text color.
Once configured, the navigation menu appears by default on all new pages that you create. - Add a main menu
- Optional: To hide the navigation menu for a specific page, click the page and then select the Hide layout information checkbox in the configuration panel on the right.
