IoT Studio's web-based visual development platform includes large screen components for building visual dashboards that analyze and display large volumes of complex data. This topic outlines how to configure and use these components.

Large screen components let users, even those without specialized engineering skills, build professional-grade visual applications. You can use them to create displays for a wide range of business needs, including conference exhibitions, business monitoring, risk alerts, and geospatial analysis.

Important If you copy a large screen component and use it across multiple application pages, any changes you publish to the component on one page, such as adding, deleting, or modifying it, are automatically synchronized across all other published application pages.

Large screen templates

IoT Studio currently offers three large screen templates.

  • Smart Life Device O&M Screen: Some components display data from a static data source. You can modify the data source configuration of these components based on your business requirements.
  • General-purpose Device O&M Screen: Each component displays data from a dynamic data source using a data analytics API, an official interface for IoT data analytics. We recommend using the default API for this template. You can also modify the component's data source configuration to meet your specific requirements.
  • Smart Greenhouse Monitoring Screen: Each component displays data from a static data source. You can modify the data source configuration of the components.

Possible cause: The logon status for the IoT large screen editor has expired.

Solution: Clear your browser's cache (especially cookies), log in to the IoT Platform console again, and then refresh the IoT large screen editor.
