Add twin nodes

Updated at:

When you create a twin space, a twin entity and a primary node are automatically created. You can add multiple twin nodes to the twin entity to build a complete business model. This topic describes how to add twin nodes.

Prerequisites

You have created a twin space and navigated to the Twin Entity Graph page. For more information, see Create a twin space and View a twin space.

Procedure

  1. On the Twin Entity Graph page, on the Twin Entity Graph tab, click Edit Twin Entity to open the twin workbench.

  2. Drag Twin Node from the pane on the left to a node on the canvas to add a child node.

You can repeat this operation to add multiple or multilayer twin nodes and build your twin entity graph.

Alternatively, you can right-click a node on the canvas and click Add Child Node, or click Delete to remove an unwanted child node.

  3. (Optional)

Click a twin node on the canvas. In the configuration panel on the right, you can view the node name, node ID, and model ID.

To change the node name, you can double-click a child node on the canvas or click the edit 编辑 icon next to the node name. To search for a twin node, enter its name in the upper-left corner of the canvas.
