A scenario is a page for display and interaction in a digital twin solution. It displays real-time data, statuses, and alert information from a twin model in 3D. In a scenario, you can associate data sources from the twin model and configure statuses and alerts. After the configuration is complete, you can preview and publish the page. After the page is published, you can embed it into your business system. This topic describes how to create a scenario.
Prerequisites
You have created a digital twin space. For more information, see Create a digital twin space.
Add a scenario
Log on to the IoT Platform console. In the navigation pane on the left, click Value-added Services.
In the IoT Twin Engine section, click Go to Service.
In the upper-left corner of the IoT Twin Engine workbench, select your instance.
On the Space Management page, click a space card, or click the
icon in the upper-right corner of the card and select View Space.In the navigation pane on the left, click Scenario Management, and then click Create Twin Scenario.
In the Create Twin Scenario panel, enter a scenario name and description, and click OK.
The scenario name can contain Chinese characters, letters, digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). The name can be up to 32 characters long.
After the scenario is created, a dialog box appears. Click Go to Scenario Workbench to open the scenario editing workbench.If you close the dialog box, you are returned to the scenario list. Click the scenario card, or click the
icon in the lower-right corner of the card and then click Go to Editing Workbench to open the scenario editing workbench.
Other operations
Edit a scenario
On the Scenario Management page, click the
icon in the lower-right corner of the scenario card, and then click Edit Scenario Information. In the Edit Scenario Information panel, you can modify the scenario name and description.
Delete a scenario
On the Scenario Management page, click the
icon in the lower-right corner of the scenario card, and then click Delete Scenario. Then, click OK.
