Purchase an Enterprise Edition instance
You can use an IoT Platform Enterprise Edition instance for device connectivity and business management. Data (such as products and devices) and services are isolated between instances. You can purchase an Enterprise Edition instance to connect your devices, manage the data they report, and use the data service to back up and analyze the data.
Purchase an instance

Log on to the IoT Platform console.

On the Instance Overview tab, find the Purchase Enterprise Edition Instance card and click Purchase Instance.

On the purchase page, select the instance specifications that meet your business needs and complete the purchase.
In this example, we select the Alibaba Cloud Enterprise Edition instance type. You must also select the number of data processing units and the amount of cold data storage based on your requirements. For configuration details, see Purchase an Enterprise Edition instance.
After the instance is purchased, the system assigns it a default name, for example, iot-cn-z2q1***.
Switch instances
In the IoT Platform console, the instance type you are currently using is displayed next to the IoT Platform product name.

Log on to the IoT Platform console.

On the Instance Overview tab, click an instance name, such as
iot-cn-z2q1***, to switch to that instance's details page.The instance card displays metrics such as the instance type (for example, Standard), running status (a green dot indicates Running), the number of online devices, and upstream and downstream message TPS.
