Manage twin spaces
A twin space is a collection of twin entities, 3D twin scenarios, twin entity data sources, and 3D model resources. This topic describes how to create, view, and edit twin spaces.
Prerequisites
You have activated IoT Platform and are using a new public instance or an Enterprise instance.
NoteYou can try IoT Platform for free after activation. For more information about the free trial, see Alibaba Cloud Free Trial for IoT Platform products. For more information about billing, see Billing overview. For more information about instances, see Instance overview.
You have created a product and a device for your instance, completed device-side development, and connected the device to IoT Platform.
You have activated the IoT Twin Engine service, which is a value-added service of IoT Platform.
NoteThe IoT Twin Engine service is available as a value-added service and can be activated for free.
View the DEMO twin space
IoT Twin Engine provides a DEMO twin space by default. In this space, you can view the configured twin entity graph, data sources, scenarios, and 3D resources to quickly learn about the features of IoT Twin Engine.
The default twin space and its configurations, such as the twin entity graph, data sources, scenarios, and 3D resources, are view-only and cannot be edited or deleted.
Log on to the IoT Platform console. In the navigation pane on the left, click Value-added Services.
In the IoT Twin Engine section, click Go to Service.
In the upper-left corner of the IoT Twin Engine workbench, select your instance.
In the navigation pane on the left, click DEMO Space.
Click the space card, or click the
icon in the upper-right corner of the card and select View Space. On the twin space page, view information such as the twin entity graph, data sources, scenarios, and 3D resources.
Create a twin space
Log on to the IoT Platform console. In the navigation pane on the left, click Value-added Services.
In the IoT Twin Engine section, click Go to Service.
