Upload 3D resources
You must upload the 3D models that you want to use in a scenario. This topic describes the limits and procedure for uploading 3D model files.
Prerequisites
You have created a digital twin space. For more information, see Create a digital twin space.
Limits
You can upload up to 20 3D model files to a digital twin space.
The supported 3D model file formats are
.gltfand.glb.
Procedure
Log on to the IoT Platform console. In the navigation pane on the left, click Value-added Services.
In the IoT Twin Engine section, click Go to Service.
In the upper-left corner of the IoT Twin Engine workbench, select your instance.
On the Space Management page, click a space card, or click the
icon in the upper-right corner of the card and select View Space.On the digital twin space details page, click 3D Resources in the navigation pane on the left.
Click Upload Model. In the dialog box that appears, select a 3D model file from your computer.
After the file is uploaded, the Model Name field is automatically populated with the file name. Change the Model Name as needed, enter a description, and then click Confirm.
ImportantThe Model Name must be unique within the current space.
