Create a resource group
Resource groups let you organize and manage cloud resources by department or project.
Prerequisites
You have an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM identity that has the permissions to create resource groups.
If you create a resource group by using a RAM identity, that identity is automatically granted the AdministratorAccess permission on the resource group and becomes its administrator.
Procedure

Log on to the Resource Management console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

On the Resource Group page, click Create Resource Group.

On the Create Resource Group page, configure Resource Group Identifier and Resource Group Name.

Click Confirm.
The resource group enters the Creating state. Wait about 3 seconds and click
in the upper-right corner of the resource group list. When the state changes to Available, the resource group is created.
