FAQ
This topic describes common issues and solutions for the Qianli Chuanyin Voice Broadcast service.
Why is the Function Definition tab missing from the Product Management page in the IoT Platform console?
Cause
If you enabled IoT Platform before 2020, the Function Definition tab is not displayed on the Product Management page in the IoT Platform console. As a result, you cannot view or configure Thing Specification Language (TSL) model features.
Solution
Send an email to bayi.ty@alibaba-inc.com with the ProductKey of your old product to request an upgrade to a new product that supports TSL models.
We recommend that you verify the upgrade on a test product first.
How do I connect Android and iOS devices to the Qianli Chuanyin voice broadcasting service?
The Qianli Chuanyin voice broadcasting service does not provide a software development kit (SDK) for Android or iOS devices. However, you can use the Link SDK from IoT Platform to connect your device. After the device is connected, use the TSL model APIs from IoT Platform to respond to service invocations and report properties and events for the Qianli Chuanyin voice broadcasting service.
For more information about the IoT Platform Link SDK, see Android Link SDK and iOS Link SDK.
For more information about the TSL model APIs provided by IoT Platform, see Use TSL models.
For more information about how to use TSL models for device communication with the Qianli Chuanyin voice broadcasting service, see TSL model communication.
If a device is offline during a message push, can it receive the message after it comes back online?
Yes, it can. To enable the offline push service, set clean session = 0 when you connect to the platform over MQTT.
The offline push service is valid for only 7 days. A device cannot receive the message if it comes back online more than 7 days after IoT Platform initiated the push task.
Will I be notified about a low voice broadcast success rate or insufficient device licenses?
Yes. The Qianli Chuanyin voice broadcasting service integrates with DingTalk Robot to provide anomaly alert notifications. For more information, see Create a DingTalk group to receive alert notifications.
