Log on to the IoT Platform console with an Alibaba Cloud account
An Alibaba Cloud account has full access to all resources and account settings.
Log on to the IoT Platform console
Log on to the IoT Platform console with your Alibaba Cloud account. You must complete identity verification to get full permissions on IoT Platform.
- Go to the Alibaba Cloud China site.
- Click Console.
- Log on with your Alibaba Cloud account and password. Note If you forget your logon name or password, click Forgot Logon Name or Forgot Password on the logon page to retrieve them.
- In the console, click Products and Services. A page that lists all Alibaba Cloud products and services appears.
- Search for IoT Platform and click IoT Platform in the search results to open the IoT Platform console.
Use the IoT Platform console to manage products, devices, and rules.
Set up access control
An Alibaba Cloud account has full permissions. Leaked credentials pose critical security risks. To grant other users access to your resources, do not share your Alibaba Cloud account and password directly.
Instead, create Resource Access Management (RAM) users in the RAM console and grant them the required permissions. This allows users other than account owners or administrators to access resources as RAM users. RAM user access and Custom permissions describe the configuration steps.
