Add a topology relationship-IoT Platform (Deprecated)(IoT)-阿里云帮助中心

If a sub-device connects to IoT Platform through a gateway, you must add a topology relationship to associate the sub-device with the gateway device.

Prerequisites

A gateway product and a gateway device have been created. When you create the product, set the Node Type to Gateway Device. For more information, see Create a product and Create a device.
A sub-device product and a sub-device have been created. When you create the product, set the Node Type to Gateway Sub-device and configure the protocol for connecting to the gateway. For more information, see Create a product and Create a device.

Log on to the IoT Platform console.
On the Overview page, find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID or instance name.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Device Management > Devices.
On the Devices page, find the gateway device and click View to go to the Device Details page.
On the Sub-device Management tab, click Add Sub-device
In the dialog box that appears, select the sub-device to associate and click OK.

After the sub-device is added, you can perform the following actions on the Sub-device Management tab:

Click View next to a sub-device to go to the Sub-device Details page.
Click Delete next to a sub-device to remove it from the gateway.
Note This operation removes only the topology relationship between the sub-device and the gateway. It does not delete the device itself.
