Start a data parsing task
After you configure a data parsing task, start it to process data in real time. The task sends output to a destination topic, the IoT Digital Twin Engine, or a data table for further analysis and processing.
Prerequisites
You have configured a data parsing task. For more information, see Configure a source node and Configure a destination node.
Background information

You can modify, debug, start, or delete data parsing tasks in the draft and offline states.

You can view but cannot delete data parsing tasks in the starting, stopping, and online states.

Procedure

On the Data Parsing console, click Start in the upper-right corner.
After you click Start, the button changes to Starting. When startup succeeds, the button changes to Stop.
When you start a data parsing task, the system automatically validates it.

If the validation succeeds, the task starts.

If validation fails, an error message appears. Fix the configuration based on the message and start the task again.

(Optional) Click Stop in the upper-right corner to stop the data parsing task. You can then reconfigure the task.
After reconfiguring the task, start it again by following the steps above.
Results
On the page, the status of a successfully started task automatically updates to online.
