Aggregation Cube FAQ
This topic answers frequently asked questions about the Aggregation Cube product.
1. Aggregation Cube Scenarios and Supported Platforms
1.1 What are the common scenarios for Aggregation Cube?
Aggregation Cube uses its proprietary, field-tested XLink aggregation technology to combine all available 4G, 5G, and WAN network resources. It dynamically splits traffic across different transmission links based on network quality. This process increases network bandwidth and improves stability. The service provides high-availability networking anytime and anywhere, activating the last mile of mobile connectivity.
1.2 How many SIM cards can the Aggregation Cube gateway use?
The Aggregation Cube gateway is a multi-channel 5G aggregation gateway for industrial use. It supports two 5G SIM cards and two 4G SIM cards. For 4G networks, you can use a mix of SIM cards from China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. For 5G networks, you can use a mix of SIM cards from China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Broadnet. The gateway also supports the aggregation of mixed 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G SIM cards from these carriers. The gateway delivers high bandwidth, high stability, and low latency for network transmission.
1.3 Which live streaming platforms does Aggregation Cube support?
Aggregation Cube currently supports major live streaming platforms such as Taobao, Douyin, and Kuaishou. It provides a high-availability network for live streaming customers.
1.4 Does the Aggregation Cube gateway need to be plugged in all the time?
The Cloud Aggregation device has a built-in battery that lasts for approximately 4.5 hours and does not require a continuous power source.
2. Purchasing and using High Availability Acceleration Packages
2.1 How do I purchase a High Availability Acceleration Package?
Purchase a High Availability Acceleration Package directly from the purchase link. Choose a package with a validity period of 2, 6, or 12 months and specifications that match your business requirements. If you are in the early stages of your business and cannot estimate your traffic usage, purchase the smallest package first to gauge your consumption. Purchase a High Availability Acceleration Package.
2.2 What is the main purpose of a High Availability Acceleration Package?
A High Availability Acceleration Package is a required component for the Aggregation Cube gateway. It provides cloud-based high-availability aggregation and acceleration services. Usage is metered by the amount of accelerated Internet traffic consumed. The package enables edge-side splitting and cloud-side aggregation of the gateway's traffic. This process improves stability, accelerates forwarding, and provides a reliable Service-Level Agreement (SLA). For specific scenarios, the package delivers high-speed bandwidth, ultra-low latency, resistance to packet loss, or a balanced and stable network to ensure high availability for your business.
2.3 What is the validity period of a High Availability Acceleration Package?
High Availability Acceleration Packages are available in three specifications: 60 GB for 2 months, 600 GB for 6 months, and 7,200 GB for 1 year. Each package includes a specific amount of traffic for acceleration and a validity period. The package expires when the traffic is fully consumed or when the validity period ends, whichever comes first.
2.4 Are High Availability Acceleration Packages refundable?
The High-availability Acceleration Package is non-refundable because dedicated resources are allocated to you immediately upon purchase.
2.5 How is a High Availability Acceleration Package consumed?
When the Aggregation Cube gateway operates in aggregation mode, it can consume any active High Availability Acceleration Package in your account. Packages are consumed one by one, in order of their expiration dates.
2.6 Can the gateway still be used after the traffic in the High Availability Acceleration Package is consumed?
Yes, it can, but with limited functionality. If your last data transfer plan expires and you do not purchase a new one after receiving multiple alerts, your acceleration service will be paused. When the acceleration service is paused, the SIM cards in the Aggregation Cube gateway remain active. You can use SIM cards from different carriers for load balancing and traffic forwarding. However, the gateway will not be able to dynamically allocate traffic based on link quality, perform aggregation acceleration, or provide high-availability guarantees.
2.7 Where can I view the traffic consumption details after purchasing a High Availability Acceleration Package?
After purchasing a High Availability Acceleration Package, go to the Aggregation Cube console. On the Traffic Details page, you can view the detailed traffic consumption of the package.
Go to the Aggregation Cube console.

2.8 How do I enable pay-as-you-go for Aggregation Cube?
Go to the Aggregation Cube console and navigate to the Traffic Details page. Click Enable Pay-As-You-Go, as shown in the following figure:
On the page that appears, select the checkbox to agree to the Terms of Service and click Enable Now.
