Individual identity verification
Individual users of an Internet of Things (IoT) card must complete identity verification with the carrier to connect to the internet and access consumer applications, such as social media, E-commerce, and video streaming services. This topic describes how to perform individual identity verification using the Alibaba Cloud IoT SIM Service miniapp.
Procedure
The steps for identity verification are as follows:
Log on to Alipay and search for the Alibaba Cloud IoT SIM Service miniapp.
Click Carrier Identity Verification.
Enter the ICCID and click OK.
After the ICCID is verified, you are redirected to the carrier's ID Verification page.
Upload your ID card and a personal photo as prompted to complete the ID Verification.
After the verification is approved, the system activates the IoT card and notifies you of the result.
