APN management

Background information

Before you manage APNs, learn about directional services. For more information, see Introduction to directional services and Usage notes for directional services.

Usage notes

• You can configure a maximum of 10 access addresses for an APN.

• By default, each order corresponds to one virtual private cloud (VPC) APN.

• If you have multiple APNs, you must configure access addresses for each one. Otherwise, the SIM cards associated with an unconfigured APN cannot access any address.

Configure access addresses

1. Log on to the IoT SIM Service console.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .

3. In the Operation column for the APN, click Manage Target Addresses.

4. On the Manage Target Addresses page, click Add Target Address.

5. In the Add Target Address dialog box, set the parameters.

   Note

   You can configure a maximum of 10 access addresses for an APN.

   Parameter	Description
   Add Method	You can choose Add Individually or Batch Upload.
   Target Address (IP or Domain Name)	This parameter applies when you set Add Method to Add Individually. Enter the address that the directional SIM card can access. Examples of target addresses: IP address: 192.168.1.1 CIDR block: 192.168.1.0/24. The CIDR mask value must be 24 or greater. Domain name: iot.aliyun.com Wildcard domain name: *.aliyun.com. The exact-match part of the domain name must have at least two levels. The asterisk (*) can match multiple levels. For example, *.iot.aliyun.com does not include iot.aliyun.com.
   Batch Upload Target Addresses	This parameter applies when you set Add Method to Batch Upload. Click Download Template. In the downloaded template file, enter the list of access addresses for the directional SIM card and save the file. Click Select File. In the dialog box that appears, select the file you saved in step 2 and click Open.

6. Click OK.

   After you add the addresses, the page displays the number of configured access addresses.

   • Click Manage Target Addresses to add or modify addresses.

   • Click APN Management to query the APN's inbound and outbound bandwidth. For more information, see the following section.

Query inbound and outbound bandwidth

1. Log on to the IoT SIM Service console.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .

3. In the Operation column for the APN, click APN Management.

   You can query the APN's inbound and outbound traffic for the last hour, last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 30 days, or a custom time range.
