The Alibaba Cloud IoT Wireless Connection Service provides tag management, letting you add, view, and delete tags. After you associate an IoT card with a tag, you can use tags to quickly find and categorize your IoT cards.
Usage
- For instructions on how to associate tags with IoT cards, see card management.
- You can create up to 100 tags per account.
- When you add a tag, the system automatically assigns it a tag ID.
- You cannot delete a tag if it is used in an automation rule.
- When you associate an IoT card with a tag, the system automatically updates the number of tagged cards.
Add a tag
Log on to the IoT SIM Service Console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose , and then click Add Tag.
- In the Add Tag dialog box, enter a Tag Name, and then click OK.Note
- The Tag Name cannot contain special characters and must be 30 characters or less.
- After you associate the tag with an IoT card, you can click View in the Actions column to view the associated IoT cards.
Delete a tag
Log on to the IoT SIM Service Console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- Find the tag you want to delete, and then click Delete in the Actions column.
- In the Confirm dialog box, click Confirm.Note Deleting a tag also removes its associations with any IoT cards.
