Activate the Intelligent Speech Interaction service to use its products. This topic describes how to activate the service.
Background information
Voice Services activated before July 5, 2018 are version 1.0.
If you want to use version 2.0 services, such as short sentence recognition and real-time speech recognition, you must activate the version 2.0 service and upgrade the software development kit (SDK) to version 2.0.
Prerequisites
You have an Alibaba Cloud account.
If this is your first time using Intelligent Speech Interaction, you must use an Alibaba Cloud account to activate the service. For more information about how to create an Alibaba Cloud account, see Prepare an Alibaba Cloud account.
The RAM user is created.
To activate Intelligent Speech Interaction as a RAM user, ensure that the AliyunNLSFullAccess permission is granted to your RAM user. For more information about how to create a RAM user, see Prepare a RAM user.
Procedure
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud website.
Go to the Intelligent Speech Interaction product page and click Activate and Purchase.
On the product activation page, select a service type, select the Terms of Service check box, and then click Activate Now.
ImportantThe Trial permission is activated by default. This grants you free service access for up to two concurrent ingest endpoints. Long-form speech synthesis does not have a trial version.
