When you use the Intelligent Speech Interaction audio file recognition service, you must provide a download URL for the audio file when you submit a recognition task. If you use Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) to store your audio files, you can use an internal endpoint to avoid data transfer costs. This topic describes how to set an OSS internal endpoint.

Before you begin

  • The audio file recognition service is deployed in China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), and China (Shenzhen).

  • Before you switch your services to use the internal same-region endpoints, test them to ensure they work as expected.

  • When you use the audio file recognition service across regions, your services may be affected by cross-region network latency.

Prerequisites

  • You have activated OSS. For more information, see Activate OSS.

  • You have activated Intelligent Speech Interaction. For more information, see Activate the service.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the OSS console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Buckets. Then, click Create Bucket to create a bucket for storing files for Intelligent Speech Interaction.

  3. Click the name of the target bucket.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Overview. In the Endpoints section, view the Classic Network Access (Internal) endpoint. This is the internal endpoint for the bucket. Using this endpoint does not incur data transfer costs.

The endpoint is oss-cn-hangzhou-internal.aliyuncs.com. The bucket domain name is in the format <BucketName>.oss-cn-hangzhou-internal.aliyuncs.com.
