To access LindormTable by using the MySQL protocol, enable the MySQL compatibility feature in the Lindorm console. You can then obtain the MySQL endpoint for subsequent operations.
Prerequisites
The version of LindormTable is 2.6.5.2 or later. For information about how to view or update the minor version of LindormTable, see Release notes of LindormTable and Minor version update.
Usage notes
If your LindormTable was activated after August 2024, the MySQL compatibility feature is already enabled. No manual action is required.
Procedure
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connections.
-
On the Wide Table Engine tab, choose .
ImportantEnabling the MySQL compatibility feature switches Lindorm SQL to a new architecture. This change may cause SQL syntax differences and does not ensure full compatibility. For instances purchased before September 2023, the MySQL Compatibility Address button is not displayed in the console even if the LindormTable version is upgraded to 2.6.5.2 or later.
In this case, contact the Lindorm technical support (DingTalk ID: s0s3eg3).
-
In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
ImportantWhile the feature is being enabled, the instance enters the Changing Specifications state. This process takes 2 to 10 minutes. During this time, management operations such as service activation and specification changes are unavailable. You can resume normal operations after the instance state changes to Running.
