This topic explains how to activate the Lindorm vector engine and find its endpoint.
Activate the vector engine
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, click Create.
On the Lindorm purchase page, configure the following parameters:

Commodity Type
Select Lindorm.
Instance Configuration
Select Search Engine and Vector Engine.
NoteThe vector engine depends on Lindorm Search, so you must activate both engines together.
You can click
to modify the specifications and nodes of each engine. For more information, see Create an instance.
Click Buy Now and complete the payment as prompted.
After you complete the purchase, you can view the status of the instance in the Lindorm console. When the status changes from Creating to Running, the instance is ready.
Find the endpoint
Log on to the Lindorm console. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region of the instance. On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connections.
On the Vector Engine tab, find the endpoint.
