Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) Personal Edition upgrade

2.1 Upgrade benefits

After the upgrade, your original Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) personal account will be converted to a Qoder CN Full Suite account, giving you the following enhanced capabilities:

• Cross-Product Access: Use a single account to log in to the Qoder CN IDE plugin, JetBrains plugin, QoderWork CN, Qoder CN CLI, QoderWake CN, Qoder CN mobile, and Qoder CN Cloud Agents without separate registrations.

• Unified Resource Pool: After the upgrade, your credits are metered and consumed from a single pool across all products in the Qoder CN Full Suite, simplifying quota management and budget planning.

• Limited-Time Model Access: Upgraded users can enjoy 200 free daily calls to the Qwen3.7-Max model as part of a limited-time promotion. The end date will be announced on the official Qoder CN website.

• Seamless AI Data Migration: Your existing AI conversation history, user- and project-level rules, memories, skills, intelligent agents, code index, and settings from the IDE/JetBrains plugins (including general, session, and terminal settings) are all preserved and migrated to your new account.

2.2 Credits handling rules

The upgrade converts your credits based on the principles of equivalent conversion and an extended validity period.

• The remaining credits balance from your current monthly subscription plan for your Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) account, along with the balance of any purchased credits resource packs, will be merged and converted into a personal resource pack under your upgraded Qoder CN Full Suite account.

• The conversion is 1:1, so the total amount of credits does not change.

• The validity period of the new personal resource pack will be reset to one month, starting from the date of the upgrade.

• Because existing personal resource packs also have a one-month validity period, and the credits in your original account likely have less than a month remaining, this upgrade effectively extends the validity of your balance.

2.3 Refund rules

After the upgrade, your subscriptions for Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) will be handled according to the following rules:

• We will automatically refund seat subscription fees for future billing cycles to your original payment method. No request is needed.

• Any active auto-renewal orders will also be canceled.

• Fees for used billing cycles are not eligible for a refund.

• We will migrate the remaining credits from the current cycle to your new account's personal resource pack as described in Section 2.2. These credits will not be refunded as cash.

If you enjoy the Qoder CN Full Suite and wish to continue using paid features after the upgrade, you can subscribe to the Pro Personal Plan at https://qoder.com.cn/pricing. The Pro Personal Plan currently supports monthly subscriptions and continuous monthly auto-renewal.

Examples

Case 1: A user subscribed only to Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) performs the upgrade on June 30.

Case 2: A user's Alibaba Cloud UID is subscribed to both Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) and QoderWork CN, meaning they are paying for two Pro subscriptions. The upgrade is performed on June 25, merging the two subscriptions into one.

2.4 Important notes

To ensure you are fully aware of the effects of the upgrade, please note the following changes:

• VSC Plugin No Longer Supported: After the upgrade, the original Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) VSC plugin will be marked as deprecated and will not be part of the Qoder CN Full Suite. If you currently rely on the VSC plugin for your daily development, we recommend switching to the Qoder CN IDE plugin and assessing its compatibility with your development environment before upgrading. The clients available in the full suite are the IDE plugin, JetBrains plugin, QoderWork CN, Qoder CN CLI, QoderWake CN, Qoder CN mobile, and Qoder CN Cloud Agents.

• Login Entry Point Change: After the upgrade, your previous login entry point (such as logging in with an Alibaba Cloud account) will no longer be available. To log in to the IDE plugin, JetBrains plugin, and all other products in the suite, you must use the "Log in with Qoder CN" entry point.

• Account System Transition: We will transfer the credits from your old account's current billing cycle to your Qoder CN Full Suite account.

  • If you already have a Qoder CN personal account: If you have previously used the same Alibaba Cloud UID to register and log in to a personal account on the Qoder CN website (qoder.com.cn), the upgrade will merge your data into this existing account. The remaining credits and migratable data from your Lingma account will be added to it. You will use this account to log in to all products going forward.

  • If you do not have a Qoder CN personal account: If you have never registered on the Qoder CN website with this Alibaba Cloud UID, the system will automatically create a new Qoder CN Personal Community Edition account for you. This will be your new login identity, and no extra steps are required. If you need higher limits or Pro features later, you can subscribe at https://qoder.com.cn/pricing under this new account.

• Client Version Requirement: Before upgrading, ensure your IDE plugin and JetBrains plugin are updated to the latest version to support the new login method.

• Action Is Irreversible: Once completed, you cannot revert to the old Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) account system. Carefully evaluate all changes before you confirm the upgrade.

2.5 Pre-upgrade checklist

When you initiate the upgrade from your IDE, a "Pre-upgrade Notice" alert will appear. Before proceeding, please review each of the following points carefully before clicking "Confirm, Start Upgrade":

⚠️ Do Not Interrupt the Process: The upgrade takes about 1–2 minutes to perform critical actions like mapping old and new accounts, migrating credits, and processing refunds. Do not close your IDE, disconnect from the network, or forcibly terminate the process during the migration.

⚠️ This Action Is Irreversible: The upgrade is a one-time, irreversible operation. You cannot revert to the old Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) account system. Proceed only after you have read this guide and agree to the credit conversion and refund rules.

⚠️ VSC Plugin Discontinued Post-Upgrade: If you currently depend on the VSC plugin, we recommend switching to the Qoder CN IDE before upgrading.

✅ Your AI Data Will Be Preserved: Although the account system is changing, we will migrate your existing AI conversation history, rules, memories, skills, intelligent agents, code index, and common IDE/JetBrains plugin settings to the new account.

Step 1: Log in and select identity

Starting June 20, 2026, log in to the Qoder CN IDE plugin or JetBrains plugin using your usual method (e.g., with your Alibaba Cloud China site account). On the identity selection page, choose your personal account identity and click "Continue".

Step 2: Review notice and confirm

After selecting your identity, the Qoder CN Full Product Upgrade card will appear. This card clearly shows:

• A comparison of your Original Account capabilities (Qoder CN - Lingma) and your Upgraded Account capabilities (Qoder CN - Full Suite). Note that the VSC plugin is deprecated and not supported in the new system.

• The Resources & Fees panel, which shows your current account identity, credits balance, the target personal resource pack, and its new validity period after the upgrade.

• Key warnings from the Pre-upgrade Notice, including the change in login method, deprecation of the VSC plugin, the non-interruptible and irreversible nature of the process, and the preservation of AI data.

Read all the information carefully and choose one of the following options:

• Confirm, Start Upgrade: Proceeds to Step 3 to start the official upgrade process.

• Skip, Continue with Old Version: Postpones the upgrade and allows you to continue using Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) with your old login method. This old method will be available for a transitional period, the end date of which will be announced separately.

• Switch Account: Returns to the identity selection page, allowing you to log in with a different Alibaba Cloud account. This is useful if you have multiple Alibaba Cloud UIDs.

Step 3: System performs the upgrade

After you confirm, the system automatically completes the upgrade, which takes 1–2 minutes. Do not close the IDE.

Step 4: Confirm and log in again

After a successful upgrade, the IDE guides you to log in again.

Step 5: Restore AI data

After upgrading to a Qoder CN (Full Suite) account, when you log in on the same machine with the new account and login method, the system automatically restores your AI conversations, skills, rules, memories, code index, and other data from the original account.

This completes the upgrade process. You can now use the Qoder CN IDE/JetBrains plugins with your new account and access all other products in the Qoder CN Full Suite.

Q1: Can I choose not to upgrade?

A: Before June 20, 2026, the old, separate account system will remain operational. However, to access the latest products like QoderWork CN and the CLI, and to avoid duplicate subscription fees, we strongly recommend that you upgrade as soon as possible.

Q2: Will I lose my conversation history after the upgrade?

A: No. We use a lossless migration technique to fully preserve all your AI history data and personal settings in your new account.

Q3: When will I receive my refund?

A: We trigger the refund process for the remaining subscription cycles immediately after you confirm the upgrade. Funds are typically returned to your original payment method (Alipay/bank card) within 1 to 7 business days, depending on your bank's processing time.

Q4: Where can I check my credits usage after the upgrade?

A: Go to https://qoder.com.cn/account/usage to view the consumption details for all Qoder CN products, including your credits balance and usage details.

Your historical usage details from before the upgrade remain available in the original Qoder CN Alibaba Cloud console (which only shows usage for the IDE/JetBrains plugins) at https://qoder.console.aliyun.com/usage.
