Add a custom model

Open Qoder CN settings
In the upper-left corner of the IDE, click Qoder CN and select Preferences > Qoder CN Settings.

Go to the Model panel
In the left-side navigation pane, select Model.
The model management page displays your configured custom models. Each model card shows the model name, tags, and provider information, and includes controls to edit, delete, or enable/disable the model. To add a new custom model, click + Add in the upper-right corner.

Add a model
Click Add, select a provider, choose a model, and enter your API key.
To get a key, click Get API Key to open the provider's key management page.

Verify the connection
Click Add. The connection is verified automatically.

Use the model
After setup, select the model in the dialog to use it.

The Model panel supports the following operations:

Do custom models consume Qoder CN quota?
No. Custom model usage is billed by the provider to your API account and does not consume Qoder CN quota.
Where do I get an API key?
Get your API key from the provider's platform:

What if model addition fails?
Verify the following:

The API key is correct and contains no extra spaces.

The API key has not expired or been disabled.

Your provider account has a sufficient balance.

Your network connection is working properly.
Can I add multiple models from one provider?
Yes. Add different model versions or use different API keys from the same provider.
