This document describes how to ingest data into IoT Platform. This method uses a one-to-one mapping to ingest a data group into a single product in IoT Platform. The product is then automatically mapped to a node group in Link WAN.
Accessing from the IoT Platform
- Log on to the IoT Platform console and follow the on-screen instructions to activate the IoT Platform service.
- In the IoT Platform console, navigate to Instance Overview and click Public Instance.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Device Management > Products, and then click Create Product.

- Configure the parameters and grant authorization.
Parameter Description Product Name Smart Coffee Maker (customizable) Category Select Custom Category Node Type Select Directly Connected Device Network Connection Method Select LoRaWAN Network Credential Select a credential from the list, or click Create Credential Note Confirm that you have obtained the network credential from Link WAN.Data Format Pass-through/Custom If this is your first time using Link WAN, grant data permissions.

- After the product is created, click Manage Devices.

- Click Add Device to complete the LoRa device ingestion.

The node group is created by an internal IoT Platform API and has a one-to-one binding. You cannot change the data export type for this group in the Link WAN console. The group status is locked, as shown in the figure.
Note To add or delete node devices later, you must manage them in the IoT Platform console. The node data is automatically synchronized to Link WAN.
