Image translation limits

The maximum file size is 5 MB, and the maximum dimensions are 4000×4000 pixels.

PDF support in document translation

Yes, you can translate PDF documents.

Removing original text in video translation

You cannot remove text that is burned into the video because it is part of the video file, not a separate subtitle track. However, you can cover it by adding a background to the new subtitles.

To add a background to your subtitles, go to the style panel below the subtitle editor and toggle on the background option.

Simultaneous login conflicts

No, multiple users can log in to the same account simultaneously without conflict.

Disabling the service

You cannot directly disable the Machine Translation service. This is to prevent accidental disruption to your business.

If you no longer need the service, log in to the Machine Translation Console, review and back up your data, and then delete all content. For detailed instructions, see account cancellation.

Alternatively, you can use the following methods to effectively stop using the service or prevent unauthorized access:

1. Machine Translation is a pay-as-you-go service. If you stop using it, you will not incur any charges. Additionally, the service on the China site uses hourly billing. If your account has an overdue balance after a billing cycle, the service is suspended immediately.

2. For non-developers who use online tools like image translation, you should enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This helps prevent financial loss due to account compromise. For setup instructions, see account security settings.
