Customer types

Manage platform customers

1. Log on to the ISV portal of Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Customer > Customer Center.
3. Click the Platform Customers tab. The customer list displays basic information about platform customers, including their Alibaba Cloud account, contact, last order time, and customer tags.
   Note The Contact in the basic information is the account name maintained by the customer and may be empty.

   On this tab, you can also contact customers and manage their information. This includes viewing customer details, setting tags for customers, and sending coupons.

   If you want to...	You can...
   Call a customer	In the Operation column of the target customer, click the phone icon to call the customer using the double-call method.
   View customer details	In the Operation column of the target customer, click Details to view the customer's basic information, transaction information, order information, business information, requirement information, and held coupons. Note Customers can choose not to display their contact information when placing an order. If they do, you can only see their account in the Customer Information area. In this case, you can contact the customer using the double-call method. If the customer agrees to share their contact information, their phone number and email address are displayed.
   Edit basic customer information	In the Operation column of the target customer, click Details. In the Customer Information area, click Edit Information, and then edit the information.
   Set tags for a customer	Set tags for a single customer: In the Tag column of the target customer, click the edit icon, and then select tags for the customer. Set tags for multiple customers in a batch: Select the checkboxes of the target customers and click Set Tags > Add Tags in Batch above the customer list. Then, select tags for the customers.
   Send coupons to a customer	Send coupons to a single customer: In the Operation column of the target customer, click Details. In the Held Coupons area, click Issue Coupon, and then select the coupons to send to the customer. To send coupons to multiple customers in a batch, select the target customers, click Batch Send Coupons above the customer list, and then select the coupons to send.

Add private customers

You can add your own customer resources in the Customer Center to easily maintain customer information and expand your customer base.

1. Log on to the ISV portal of Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Customer > Customer Center.
3. Click the Private Customers tab.
4. Click Add User. Fill in the customer information and click Save.

Associate a private customer as a platform customer

If a private customer purchases a product on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace, you can associate them as a platform customer to manage all customers in one place.

1. Log on to the ISV portal of Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Customer > Customer Center.
3. Click the Private Customers tab.
4. In the Operation column of the target customer, click Link Account, enter the customer's Alibaba Cloud account, and then click Save.
