Delivery Center overview
The Delivery Center is a unified platform for managing after-sales services on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. It gives vendors and service providers visibility into every stage of the delivery process, ensures service quality, and improves your product's strength score to provide you with online benefits.
Definitions
The Delivery Center has three stakeholders: vendors, service providers, and customers. Identify which role applies to you before you begin.
Vendor: An Independent Software Vendor (ISV) on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace that owns and sells products. If you own and sell products on the Marketplace, you are a vendor. Vendors can deliver their own products or outsource the services to other service providers. Responsibilities include creating delivery flows, managing service providers, and overseeing the delivery process.
-
Service provider: An ISV on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace that provides services but does not necessarily own products. If you deliver services on behalf of a vendor, you are a service provider. Service providers have a delivery relationship with vendors, which allows them to deliver the vendors' products. Responsibilities include managing employees and handling project delivery.
NoteBy default, all ISVs are both vendors and service providers and are authorized to deliver their own products. For example, ISV_A is both a vendor and a service provider and can deliver its own products.
Customer: The customer of a Delivery Center project. Customers may perform actions during the delivery process, such as submitting requirements or confirming delivery completion.
