SLK integration overview

To integrate with SLK, you must first join Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. After you join, you can prepare for business and technical integration. The technical integration for SLK includes the following:
  • Application panel (iDaaS) integration
  • Metering and billing modification (optional)
  • API Gateway integration
  • Multi-terminal capabilities
  • Elastic hosting integration (optional)

Business preparations for Alibaba Cloud Marketplace

  1. Join Alibaba Cloud Marketplace

    For more information, see Alibaba Cloud Marketplace onboarding process.

  2. List your product

    After you join Alibaba Cloud Marketplace, list your Software as a Service (SaaS) product on the marketplace. For more information, see Guide to listing SaaS products on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

iDaaS integration

To integrate with iDaaS, an independent software vendor (ISV) must perform the following development tasks:

  1. Develop a provisioning Service Provider Interface (SPI)

    The SPI is a provisioning interface that service providers develop based on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace specifications. It is used to receive provisioning notifications from Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. For development specifications, see Development specifications for proactive notification provisioning interfaces.

  2. Develop single sign-on (SSO) and account synchronization interfaces for iDaaS

    Integrate the standard iDaaS SSO protocol software development kit (SDK) and account synchronization interfaces into your SaaS application. This allows the application to receive account and organization information that is synchronized from iDaaS and lets users log on to the SaaS application using iDaaS SSO.

Integrating your application with iDaaS provides the following benefits:

  • Unified account management: All applications purchased from Alibaba Cloud Marketplace use a single set of enterprise accounts or organization structures, which are managed in iDaaS.
  • Users log on to the enterprise application panel with a single account, and permissions are isolated between users.

Metering and billing modification (optional)

If your SaaS application uses the pay-as-you-go metering and billing capabilities of Alibaba Cloud, your application must push user usage data to Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. For development specifications, see Pay-as-you-go usage data push interface.

Product pre-release validation and review

After you complete the technical integration with SLK, Alibaba Cloud Marketplace conducts a pre-release validation and review of your product.

  1. Alibaba Cloud Marketplace review: The review process typically takes about one week.image16
  2. The Alibaba Cloud Marketplace operations team tests the SPI interface and validates the iDaaS features.
