When a project is not assigned to a specific employee, the project is queued. You can view queued projects in the Delivery Center. You can also adjust an employee's maximum order limit and then manually assign the order to an employee.
Background
When an order from a vendor is assigned to you, but no employee with the required role is available or all eligible employees have reached their maximum order limit, the project workflow pauses at the order assignment stage, and the system automatically places the project in the queue. You can view the current queue status in the Delivery Center. The queue is refreshed hourly. When a suitable employee becomes available, the system automatically assigns the order to that employee. You can also increase an employee's maximum order limit and then manually assign the order to that employee.Procedure
- Log in to the Marketplace Delivery Center.
- In the navigation pane, choose .
The order list shows the queued orders and why they are in the queue.
(Optional) Manual order assignment
If an order is queued because all eligible employees have reached their order limit, you can reset their order limit after consulting with them. Then, you can manually assign the order to that employee.
- Adjust the maximum order limit for the intended employee. For details, see Configure order limits for an employee.
- In the navigation pane, choose .
- Find the target order and, in the Actions column, click Assign.
The service provider can view the assigned order on the Project Management tab in the Delivery Center.
