View instance logs
Export raw logs from Alibaba Cloud Service for Milvus (Milvus) to Simple Log Service for centralized management and analysis. Query instance logs in real time to identify root causes, optimize performance, and streamline O&M.
Enable log query

Only logs from running instances can be queried.

Enabling this feature automatically creates a Project and Logstore in Simple Log Service for log storage.

This feature may incur fees. Billing overview.

Go to the Log Query page.

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Milvus console.

In the left navigation pane, click Milvus Instances.

In the top menu bar, select a region.

On the Milvus Instances page, click the instance name.

Click the Log Query tab.

On the Log Query page, click Activate Now.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Use log query
Milvus log query supports several log management options, including the following.
Modify the custom query time

On the Log Query page, click the
icon. -
In the Custom Query Time drop-down list, select a time and click OK.
Use LogReduce

On the Log Query page, click the LogReduce tab.

Click Enable LogReduce.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

Disable log query

Disabling log query does not delete the Simple Log Service Project. To delete it, go to the Simple Log Service console.

After you disable log query, no new log data is written to Simple Log Service. Existing data is retained. Manually delete this data to avoid ongoing storage fees.

On the Log Query page, click Disable Associated Logs.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
