Add a key
The Mobi low-code development platform lets you easily add keys. These keys can be used in integration configurations and operations for flexible management. This topic describes how to add and manage keys on the Mobi platform.

Adding steps
On the key storage management page, click Create Key.
In the New Key window, enter a key name and click Create.
If the key name already exists, the system prompts you to enter a new name.
After you enter the key name, the Add Key page is displayed. On this page, enter a description for the key.
Click Add Password. Enter a password name, a development environment password, and a production environment password. Then, click OK.
After you add the password, it is displayed in the password list. The list shows the password name, development environment password, and production environment password. You can also edit and delete passwords from this list.
Click Save. The key is created and added to the key list. The list shows the key name, key description, creation time, and last modification time.
Upload limits
Maximum number of passwords per key: 20.
Maximum total number of keys: 50.
Update a key
In the key list, locate the key that you want to edit.
Click the operations menu button (...) to the right of the key.
From the operations menu, select Edit.
On the Edit Key page, update the key's content.
Key list operations
Rename: Modifies the key name.
Change Group: Moves the key to another group.
Delete: Deletes the key.
Group management
You can use groups to manage keys. The platform supports creating, renaming, and deleting groups. Groups have only one level and cannot be nested. Group names must be unique. You cannot delete a group that is not empty.
Use keys in applications
You can use keys uploaded to the Mobi platform in integration configurations and operations. In these contexts, you can reference passwords from your keys. For example, when you create a MySQL integration resource, you can reference the database account password stored in a key.
