In the Mobi low-code development platform, setting a unique title and icon for your application is an important step to enhance the user experience and brand recognition. The application title and icon are the first elements users see when they access your application. They appear in browser tabs and bookmarks and help users quickly identify your application. This document describes how to configure the application title and icon.
Configuration method
To configure the application title and icon, follow these steps:
Open the target application.
In the lower-left corner, click Application Settings.
In the Application Settings menu, select General.
On the General settings page, the configuration items for the application title and icon are displayed.
Application title
The application title is the text that users see in browser tabs and bookmarks. It should be simple, clear, and represent the core feature or brand of your application.
To configure the application title:
On the General settings page, find the Application Title field.
Enter the title text that you want to display.
Click Save to update the application settings.
Application icon
The application icon is a small image displayed in browser tabs and bookmarks. It helps users quickly identify your application.
To configure the application icon:
On the General settings page, find the Application Icon configuration item.
Set the application icon using one of the following methods:
URL: If your icon is hosted online, provide the URL of the icon image.
Space file: If your icon is stored in your space, select an image file as the application icon.
Click Save to update the application settings.
Notes
The application title should be short to avoid being truncated in browser tabs.
Use a
.icoor.pngfile for the application icon. The recommended sizes are 16×16, 32×32, and 48×48 pixels to ensure correct display on different devices and browsers.Ensure the icon image is clear and not blurry to maintain a professional appearance.
After you save the configuration, you may need to clear your browser's cache or reload the page to see the changes.
