Alibaba Cloud Model Studio New User Free Quota Validity Adjustment Notice
To improve inference resource utilization on the platform and better align with user trial periods, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio will adjust the validity period of the new user free quota for newly activated users.
Changes
Starting from 11:00 on September 8, 2025, for users who enable Alibaba Cloud Model Studio for the first time, the validity period of the complimentary free quota for new users is adjusted to 90 days.
11:00 on September 8, 2025, users with activated accounts retain their existing free quota.
Exceptions

qwen-doc-turbo (Qwen data mining model): The free trial ended on July 31, 2025. After that date, usage incurs standard charges.

Paraformer speech recognition and SenseVoice speech recognition models: The free quota policy remains unchanged. Free quota is issued automatically at 00:00 on the first day of each month and is valid for one month.
