This service provides orchestration and debugging for the Tongyi large translation model. It supports multilingual translation of text, images, and web pages. You can customize translations with features such as adaptive glossary intervention, sensitive word definitions, and format transformation to meet specific business needs.

Image Translation API	Extracts text coordinates and provides multilingual translations from an input image.	Offers two options: Flash and General. We recommend that you use the General edition. Flash: Provides low latency and is suitable for real-time scenarios. It only supports translation between Chinese and English. General: Provides high precision and ensures effective translation of structurally complex images.	Multilingual capability: Supports text extraction and translation for 11 languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Batch multilingual translation: Supports retrieving translation results in multiple languages with a single call. Web Page Translation SDK	A web page translation plugin that supports real-time translation of entire web pages.	Model options are not currently available. Document Translation API	Supports the translation of files in multiple formats, such as DOCX, DOC, TXT, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, DITA, and MARKDOWN, to a target language. It preserves the original document format and supports image translation within PDF files.	Offers two options: Turbo and Plus. Turbo: Cost-effective with fast response times. Plus: Provides better overall multilingual performance and more accurate comprehension of structurally complex text. How to use

To use this product, you must first activate the service on the service activation page or the Alibaba Cloud Model Studio application card page.

Important

To meet the requirements for high-fidelity preservation of the source text in specific business scenarios, a content filter skip feature (skipCsiCheck) is available. This feature is disabled by default. For security and compliance reasons, you must contact the technical support team to submit a request to enable this feature. After the request is approved, the feature is enabled for your account.

Note

Billing method: This is a pay-as-you-go service. You are charged based on your usage. Activating the service does not incur fees.
Call limit: Each account is limited to 5 requests per minute (RPM).
Billing logic: No free quota is provided. Billing is calculated based on the following formula: Number of successful requests × Unit price.
Billing cycle: The billing cycle and deduction rules are the same as those for Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. Bills are generated on an hourly basis. Ensure that your account has a sufficient balance to avoid service disruptions due to overdue payments.

Language list

When you send a translation request, you must specify the source and target languages using the full English name or the language code. Text, image, and document translation all support automatic source language detection (auto).
