Plugin Node
Integrate plugin tools into workflows to invoke external services by configuring plugin parameters. Supports both official and custom plugins.
Usage Example
The following workflow integrates a calculator plugin to compute an expression and passes the result to subsequent nodes.
Adding a Plugin Node
-
Hover your mouse over an upstream node (e.g., the Start node) on the canvas — a
+button appears on its right side. -
Click the
+button and select Plugin Node from the pop-up node list. -
In the dialog that appears, select the desired tool under Target Plugin. Each node supports only one tool.
-
Click OK — the node is automatically added to the canvas and connected to the upstream node.
Core Configuration
Tool Selection
The top of the configuration panel displays the name of the currently selected tool. The toggle switch on the right lets you switch between plugins. Switching plugins reloads the available tools and parameters for the new plugin — existing configurations may be lost.
Input Parameters
Input parameters dynamically change based on the selected plugin.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Variable Name | Parameter name defined by the plugin; cannot be modified. |
| Reference Method | How the parameter value is provided: direct input or referencing output from upstream nodes via variables. |
| Value | The actual value or referenced variable. |
You can visit the Component Marketplace or the Custom Plugins page, click a plugin card, and view the input parameter format for its associated tools.
Retry on Failure
Disabled by default. When enabled, the node automatically retries upon timeout or error. When disabled, the node fails immediately and throws an error.
| Parameter | Range | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Max Retry Count | 1–10 | 3 | Maximum number of retries on failure. |
| Retry Interval | 300–10,000 ms | 1000 | Wait time between retries. |
Error Handling
Disabled by default. When enabled, this node executes custom logic upon encountering an error.
| Parameter | Description | Default Value |
|---|---|---|
| Output Specified Default Content on Error | Error Branch | When an error occurs, the error branch is executed. You must configure a processing flow for this branch. |
Node Output
Output variables vary across plugins. After selecting a plugin, output variables are loaded automatically. You can visit the Component Marketplace or the Custom Plugins page, click a plugin card, and view the output parameter format for its associated tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I switch between different tools within the same plugin?
A plugin node supports only one tool at a time. To use multiple tools from the same plugin, add separate plugin nodes — each configured with a different tool.
