This topic describes updates to the product features of Xiyan GBI and the corresponding changes to the documentation.

November 28	Permission Management	Added a self-service feature for database permissions	Xiyan GBI provides fine-grained control over data access permissions. You can specify which data tables, columns, and value ranges users can query. This lets you flexibly manage access permissions to ensure data security and compliance. For specific configuration methods, see the Permission Management document.
November 28	Q&A settings	Added an intelligent SQL validation feature	Xiyan GBI provides an intelligent SQL validation feature. This feature automatically checks the syntax of SQL statements generated during the Q&A process. It also attempts to fix incorrect SQL statements, which significantly improves the success rate of SQL executions. After you enable this feature, if a generated SQL statement fails validation, the system displays detailed validation records in Step 4 on the home page to help you identify the problem. The Intelligent SQL Validation Records are displayed only in Step 4 on the home page. Note The more executions you set, the longer the response time for Xiyan GBI to answer questions. You can set a maximum of 3 executions.

Significantly reduced the price of Xiyan GBI Standard Edition

Standard Edition TURBO: The price is reduced from CNY 15,000/month/RPM to CNY 299/month. This includes a default of 5 RPM (Requests Per Minute), which supports 5 concurrent requests. To increase the RPM, click Purchase to go to the purchase page and buy more.
Standard Edition MIX: The price is reduced from CNY 37,500/month/RPM to CNY 499/month. This includes a default of 5 RPM, which supports 5 concurrent requests. To increase the RPM, click Purchase to go to the purchase page and buy more.

After you purchase Standard Edition TURBO or Standard Edition MIX, you receive an extra 500 free calls per month. After the free quota is used up, the fees for subsequent calls are deducted from your Alibaba Cloud account on a pay-as-you-go basis. (A call is generated each time you ask Xiyan GBI a question in natural language. If you break the request before the model returns a result, the call is still consumed.)

On the home page, click in the lower-left corner to view the consumption progress of your purchased and complimentary resources.

August 29	Home page > Database	Added official pre-configured databases and sample questions	During the testing phase, if you do not have an active database to associate, you can use the official pre-configured databases for testing. For complete information, see the User guide.
August 29	Home page	Q&A interaction optimization	Supports regenerating results and switching between chart types, such as column charts, line charts, and pie charts. You can download and export the analysis results. For complete information, see the User guide.
