(Optional) Reset a password

You can reset the password for an ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance if you forget the password, want to change the password, or did not set a password during instance creation.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Serverless Instances.
  3. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the resource group and region where the target instance is located.
  4. Click the ID of the target instance, or click Manage in the Actions column of the target instance.
  5. On the Basic Information page, in the Connection Information section, click Reset Password to the right of Account Name.
  6. In the Reset Password panel, set the following parameters.

    AccountThe name of the account for which the password is to be reset. This field is read-only.
    New PasswordSet a new password for the account. The password must meet the following requirements:
    • !#$%^&*()_+=

    • The password must be 8 to 32 characters long.
    Confirm PasswordEnter the new password again.
  7. Click OK.
